Elena Olivetti
Elena developed a strong expertise in contractual, corporate and commercial law, assisting Italian and foreign companies, operating in different industries such as food (wholesale and retail), tourism and real estate, providing advice both on a day-to-day basis and on corporate transactions.
Elena has a relevant experience in medical malpractice, commercial and bankruptcy litigation. She has also developed a significant experience in the negotiation of settlements procedures, in Alternative Dispute Resolutions (ADR) and in domestic and international arbitration, both as counsel and as arbitrator.
Elena is one of the founders, a member of the board of directors and, from June 2020, also President of “Arbitrando” (www.arbitrando.eu), an association promoting the culture and the practice of arbitration in Italy. She regularly carries out training activities and seminars about this topic, often partnering with different arbitral institutions as well as industrial and professional associations. She also drafted arbitration rules for arbitral institutions. She is co-author of several arbitration publications.
Elena took the Laurea in Giurisprudenza at the Università degli Studi di Milano in 1994 and has been a visiting student at Seton Hall Law School in Newark (New Jersey). She has been admitted to practice law in Italy in 1998. In 2015 she has also been admitted to practice before the Corte di Cassazione (Italian Supreme Court).
